Benefits of Dryer Vent Cleaning

Customers experience the immediate benefits of reduced drying time and energy savings while receiving the long-term benefits of reduced dryer damage and greatly reduced fire hazards.

Safety

Over time, your dryer vent fills with lint that sneaks by your dryer’s filter. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or the exhaust duct. Lint can block air flow, cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire in some dryers. Isolated incident? Not at all. The Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that over 3,000 dryer-related fires occur yearly, causing an estimated 35 million dollars in property loss.

Wasted Energy

When dryers take longer than one cycle to dry clothes, the amount of wasted energy can be substantial. This results in using two times, three times, or four times more energy than is needed to dry clothes. Delintz service operators provide professional service and can identify any problems which may be present in dryer ventilation systems. Most houses, condominiums, and apartments have never cleaned their vents, and having them delinted regularly could prevent most dryer problems.
